Italian Meat Loaf

Preheat oven= 350
Cook time= 1 hour

Ingredients:

Meat Mixture:
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1 & 1/2 lbs. ground beef
6 oz. tomato paste (2/3 c.)
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper

Middle Mixture:
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
12 oz. cottage cheese (1 1/2 c.)
3 oz. chopped mushrooms (1/2 c.)
1 tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp oregano

Directions:
Mix meat mixture together. Pat half of mixture into 8x8x2 pan.
Mix middle mixture together. Spread on top of meat.
Top with the rest of the meat mixture.

I need directions when I cook. I only have a few meals that I can pull from my head. Even if I have made that same dinner or dessert a bunch of times I still need a recipe. This dysfunction makes things difficult because then I have to search for a paper that sounds like something I want to eat. Which book was that in? Was it on a random paper somewhere? Will I like this? Also, because of this need for directions I then forget what I have cooked and what I can cook and what my family likes to eat.... So, mostly I am doing this extra blog for myself, so I can have one place to search for dinner...but feel free to try our recipes.
